Dress The Part For Your Interview

Pre-select your interview attire the day before your job interview.

Make sure that your clothes do not have any wrinkles or stains on them.

Pick the best outfit that you have, which suits the type of job that you have applied for.

So, if you intend to work in an office setting, you should dress conservatively.

In general, soft earth tones are best for women. Try to avoid miniskirts and shirts that show too much skin.

Women should try and avoid wearing too much make-up as well. It gives the wrong impression.

A nice dark suit is good for men. Where a blue or white shirt with a sensible tie.

Of course if you are planning to work outdoors or in an artistic environment, you can dress a little more casually.

Its Snowing In Texas? But I still have to work? :(

So I just woke up and its snowing in Texas!! All the school are around me but my work still wants me to come in! We are not used to this kind of weather over here. I’m probably going to go in late when the sun is up, but I bet there will be lots of traffic to endure and maybe a couple of wrecks on the highway. Well, I hope not. I think I might just call in and let them know I’m going to use a vacation day and just play around on photo shop and continue designing graphic templets to submit to some sites to get some extra passive income going. I’ve actual almost started making enough to leave my current job though….> shh! Don’t let my boss know, he might flip!

Medical massage – are there any jobs out there?

Medical massage is a huge field and the training of therapists is well catered for via the many massage courses around be they on-line or in actual colleges. In the field, a physician usually undertakes the examination of the patient and after the diagnosis is made, the patient is handed over to the medical massage therapist to help improve their comfort and aid healing. The scope of areas to work in post graduation is vast for example: hospitals, private clinics, sports injury and Chiropractic clinics, sports clubs, nursing homes, work with pre and post pregnant women etc – there is never going to be a shortage of clients!
